This page lists everything AEOptimiz stores in your browser. There is not much: no advertising, no tracking across other sites, and no third-party analytics.
Cookies

All three are set by the sign-in system, are strictly necessary for it to work, and are not shared with anyone. Consent rules everywhere carve out cookies of exactly this kind, which is why there is no banner: there is nothing to ask you about.
If you pay, Stripe sets its own cookies on Stripe's own checkout page for fraud prevention. That happens on Stripe's domain, under Stripe's privacy policy, and those cookies are not readable by us.
What else is kept in your browser
These are not cookies. They stay on your device and are never sent to us:
- the light or dark theme you chose
- the width of the document pane and whether the chat sidebar is open
- whether you have read the latest changelog entry
- an unsent draft in a form, so a reload does not lose what you typed
Clearing your site data removes all of it; nothing breaks, the defaults come back.
The free tools
The free tools are rate limited so one visitor cannot run thousands of checks a day. That counts a one-way hash of your IP address, on our server. It is not a cookie, it is not readable by anyone else, and the IP address itself is not stored.
Turning them off
Your browser can block or delete cookies for this site. Blocking the three above means you cannot sign in; everything public, including the free tools, keeps working.
