These terms are the agreement between you and AEOptimiz for the use of this product. Using it means accepting them.
What the product is
AEOptimiz reads the search data you connect, ranks what is worth fixing, answers questions about it, writes and reworks pages, and checks whether AI assistants cite your site. The ranking is produced by deterministic rules over your own data; the explanations and the writing are produced by an AI model.
Your account
You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it, including anyone you invite to your workspace. Give us an address that reaches you: sign-in links and anything important go there.
What you may connect
Connect only sites and accounts you own or are authorised to act for. The free tools may be pointed at any public page, including a competitor's, but not used to hammer anyone's server: they are rate limited, and working round the limits is a breach of these terms.
Credits and payment
Work that costs us money is metered in credits. One message to the assistant is one credit, however many steps it takes; writing or reworking an article costs more, and the amount is shown before you start. Your plan includes an allocation each month; you can buy more at any time. Unused allocation does not carry over. A message that we could not answer is not charged; a message you stopped part way through is, because the work had already been done.
Plans renew until you cancel, and cancelling stops the next renewal rather than the current period, which runs to its end. Prices can change, and we will tell you before a change affects you.
Where the law where you live gives a consumer a cooling-off period on a digital purchase, such as the 14 days in the EU and the UK, asking us to start straight away is what using the credits does, and that right ends once the service has been provided. Rights that cannot be waived are unaffected. If a purchase went wrong rather than simply being regretted, write to us: we would rather refund it than argue.
What we do not promise
Nobody can promise rankings, and we do not. The product tells you what your own data says and what a model makes of it. Model output can be wrong, and data from search engines can be late or incomplete. Check anything before you act on it, especially anything published to a live site.
We aim to keep the service available, and we will not be liable for a period when it is not, beyond what the law requires.
Publishing to your site
When you publish a document to WordPress, Shopify or your own endpoint, you are instructing us to write to your site with the credentials you gave us. You remain responsible for what appears there. What you write in AEOptimiz is yours, including anything the assistant drafted for you, and you can export it at any time.
Acceptable use
Do not use AEOptimiz to produce anything unlawful, deceptive or infringing, to impersonate anyone, or to generate content at a scale intended to mislead search engines or readers. Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer the service. We can suspend an account that does, and we will say why.
Ending it
You can close your workspace whenever you like, from Settings. We can end an account that breaches these terms, or with reasonable notice for any other reason, and in that case we refund the part of a prepaid period you have not used.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.
Changes and law
We will post changes to these terms here and tell you in the product before they take effect. They are governed by the law of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and its courts have jurisdiction. Nothing in this paragraph takes away a protection that the law where you live gives you and does not let you sign away.
