Ask in the chat, for example "write an article about choosing a birthday song". If you know the search you want it to rank for, say so.
Before anything is written
AEOptimiz checks your own site first. If a page already covers the topic, it names the page and suggests improving it instead, because a second page on the same topic splits the traffic between them. To improve an existing page, see Reworking a page that already ranks.
How it is written
It runs in the background and usually takes a few minutes. You can keep asking questions meanwhile.
- It reads the pages that rank for the search today, to see what they cover.
- It plans the sections, writes the draft in your site's voice, then writes the title tag, meta description, address and excerpt.
The finished article opens as a document you can edit before publishing.
The checks
Every draft is checked before you see it. It is not delivered if:
- it is too short or too long: an article needs at least 600 words, and fewer than 4000
- it has fewer than two sections
- it repeats the section structure of another page on your site, or copies another document's text
- its title tag, meta description or address is missing
A draft that fails gets one more attempt, with the problems given as instructions. If that fails too, you are told why and nothing is charged.
Smaller problems, such as a title tag long enough to be cut off in search results, do not stop the article. They are listed under Checks at the top of the document. Read them before you publish.
What it costs
10 credits, charged only when the article passes its checks. If your balance cannot cover it, you are told before anything starts.
